I join the Koo family

Koo is a microblogging app for social media, an alternative to twitter, and originated in India in 2020 because of differences of opinion between the Government of India and Twitter, regarding freedom of choice. According to India, some anti-India terrorist type people from countries outside of India were assuming fake name and fake origin of being from India, in their membership of twitter, and then passing subversive or treasonous plans and recruitment drives in India to foment insurgency and terrorism. The government listed out the names of these members and wanted twitter to ban their accounts. Twitter did not agree. This started a spat that is ongoing.

Meanwhile, someone in India came up with an alternative app for Indians to consider boycotting twitter and supporting home-grown platforms.

 Lot of people did join up and the platform is growing rapidly. Initially, it was presumed that the people that supported the current political party that rules India – BJP, formed the bulk of membership. This was also supported by Government officials and politicians of the party as well as the government ministers including the Prime Minister. Then came many celebrities such as actors and sportspeople, followed by journalists and self employed. In general, it was conceived to be supported by the Indian right wing, or the so called pro-Hindutwa group, or people that feel proud of their Hindu origin.

A few people from the west, wanting to stay connected with, or to gain friendship or exposure, too joined up.

It is reported that the Twitter app has over 25 million users while Koo has just under 3 million, but is rising. In some countries outside of India, Koo has apparently become highly used when their respective nations banned the use of Twitter, such as Nigeria. Some high profile ministers of the Indian Government have joined Koo and brought one million and more followers.

 Lately, perhaps the platform is losing some of its pro Hindutwa distinction and attracting some of the middle-of-the-road noncommittal folks too.

I joined up partly out of knee jerk dislike of the controlling social media and IT bigwigs of Facebook, Twitter, Google, & Microsoft, and their apparent censorship when it comes to selective subjects such as covid, Donald Trump, etc. Partly, also was the concern regarding the propaganda on Covid and my desire to tell folks in India that Hindutwa and Covid should not be mixed up. Whatever is the agenda for the Indian government regarding secularism, its politicise on covid was wholly in line with the global dictatorship of promoting a fake propaganda for reasons other than safety from any viral epidemic. 

My time with Koo has been for around six months, of which I have been reasonably active for say four months or so, meaning making on average perhaps one post per day. And in this time, my follower base has risen from zero to almost 500. In Comparison, on Twitter, I have less than 400 followers, after having been there for 12 years.

In the attached graph, one can see there were not much rise in membership in the months of March and April, when I did not make much posts. This is an indication that a post a day ensure steady rise of followers, even if your views are controversial, non-standard, or opposite to the current flow. People will follow you out of curiosity, if what you have to say, is curious.

 Why is this important. Well, I feel covid propaganda is destroying the planet as we knew it, even if the state of affairs were horrible in many counts. Therefore, resisting the ongoing destruction of the human society becomes a primary task of any thinking human, without our own capacity and inclination, and without engaging in violence.

In that, I suspect India would play a crucial role, or it has the potential to do so. That is primarily the reason for my attraction to this app – to try and make a difference, however small.

But there are subtle differences. On Twitter, I post more often and some of my followers have the same interest, such as dislike for industrial chemicals and herbicides in food, or the fact that people are having their free speech curtailed by the social media giants.

On Koo, there is no such discernible pattern. People from differing walks of life seem to follow me at random. The only noticeable pattern is – if I do not make any posts for a few days, my followers do not increase, and in fact begins to drop off. On the other hand, if I make more posts, especially on topics off the beaten path, I gain more followers. The new followers rarely, if ever, click the “like” button or share my posts. So I guess they are more curious about what I have to say, and not necessarily agreeing with me. Neither are they disagreeing enough to voice their opinion.

When it comes to covid – almost 99.99% of the people do believe covid is a deadly virus and one needs to take all precautions possible to avoid getting infected or worse. I seem to be the only voice that spends words of caution about the reality of covid and also about possible harm from vaccine, not just on health, but also economy, freedom and democracy.

Curiously, Koo App has not yet gotten around to sanctioning me or censoring my posts that often ends up criticising the Indian government, or prime minister.

So far, it has been an interesting journey and I have been making more posts on Koo than on Twitter of late.

Vegetate under covid restrictions, or live life?

Question was raised by a friend on Facebook post, about older people in India more or less confining themselves indoor, separated from their world, and just counting days doing nothing – was this a worthwhile mode of existence?

This prompted a response from me, as follows:

Not all your friends are living indoor and doing nothing except count the hours going by.
Yesterday I wrote to Narendra Modi accusing him of ruining India and looting it for the benefit of corporate and NWO overlords and asked him to explain to the people why he should not be tried for treason. I copied it to Prashant Bhushan in Delhi who is representing four like minded citizens suing the Indian Government at the supreme Court for pretty much the same reason.
That, and spending long hours in the sun, growing potato, tomato, pumpkin and a dozen more organic crops in my backyard and conversing with people across the planet- should count for more that just waiting to die of old age.
When I go to buy milk and am requested to wear a mask inside the store, I wear a specially ordered one, keeping my nose out of it and refusing to breathe my own exhalation. The specially printed text on my mask says – THIS MASK IS AS USELESS AS MY PRIME MINISTER.
So I guess I am among the exception that prove the rule.

And on a follow up message, I wrote further – 

from my point of view, things are just as bad in the west as they are in the east – in particular, small business, mom and pop shops, small entrepreneurs and self employed people are designed to lose their way of living and go extinct, and all their work is designed to be captured by bigger corporations. In Bengali, there used to be a term – মাৎস্যন্যায় – where big fish eat up all the small fish.
Sitting in any one corner of the world – it might appear that the other bank of the river is greener.
IN my unique perspective of having bridged various lands and in touch with people on the ground in all continents barring Antarctica, I see this as a global phenomenon. IN my assessment, the west is going to take the hardest fall, since its society had gone higher up in the ladder than others, and faces the greatest fall. Many smart people around the world are beginning to see this. Unfortunately, not everybody has an analytical mind and few are able to see beyond the haze. Many believe the TV, or politicians, or are greatly influenced by friends and peer pressure.
I believe the world as we knew back in 2019 is never ever coming back. I also see a systemic collapse happening across the planet, either in stages and planned, or catastrophically and unplanned, that will be like no other global economic collapse known in history.
I also have a suspicion that, among the rubble of the ruins, countries like India will survive better than many others – but not because of the upwardly mobile west-influenced new westernised youth, but the unseen, non-english savvy non-internet browsing other-India. That uncontaminated group is still numerous and not yet extinct in India, but are more or less vanished from the west. It is that crowd, in my judgment, that will emerge as major survivors and pull India up by the bootstraps.
I myself will most likely not be around to see the end result. Very few of us will be.

মোদী, ভারত, এবং বর্তমান সভ্যতা-সংকট

ফেসবুকে আমার ছেলেবেলার এবং আজীবনের বন্ধুদের অন্যতম স্যমন্তকের একটি মোদী-বিচার লেখা পড়ে মনে হল যে আমার হয়তো উচিত নিজের বক্তব্যটা পেশ করা, যদিও আমি অন্য লোকের উঠোনে গিয়ে নিজের মন্তব্য জাহির করাটা একেবারেই পছন্দ করিনা।

কিন্তু বিষয়টা আমার কাছে খুবই সাম্প্রতিক ও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। তাই তাতে আমার বক্তব্য রাখতে এবং অন্যের ঘাড়ে চেপে না চেঁচানোর সিদ্ধান্ত থেকে না সরতে গিয়ে, একটা ব্লগ লিখে ফেললুম বাংলাতে – ঔ উভয় সংকটের মুশকিল আসানের সন্ধানে।

আমি সাধারণতঃ অন্য লোকের উঠোনে উচ্চারিত নিজস্ব বক্তব্যের ওপর খবরদারী করতে বা সমালেচনা করতে আসিনা। তবে এইবার তোর উক্তিটা চোখের সামনে এল এবং বিষয়টা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ মনে হল বলে ভাবলাম Facebook’এ আমার ব্যবহারে একটা ব্যতিক্রম হয়তো আনতে পারি এবং মনে করছি তুই অখুশি হবিনা। তাত্পর্যপূর্ণ বিষয়ে মতানৈক্য থাকতেই পারে, যদি তা সসম্ভ্রমে পেশ করা যায়।

স্যমন্তককে আমি আনন্দ পাঠশালা থেকে চিনি এবং একই ক্লাসে একই বছর ইস্কুল পাশ করেছি।

নরেন্দ্র মোদি আগামী নির্বাচন জিতবে কি জিতবে না জানি না – সন্দেহ করি জিতবে, কিন্তু জেতার অন্যতম মূল কারণ নিজগুনের চেয়ে বেশি হবে বিশ্বাসযোগ্য বিকল্পের অভাব।

মোদীর লোকপ্রীয়তার অন্যতম কারণ ছিল ভারতবাসীদের অনেকেরই ইংরেজদের দাক্ষিণ্যে পাওয়া ভণ্ড-ধর্মনিরপেক্ষতার নামে মুসলমান-পোষণ ও হিন্দু-বিভাগ নীতির ধারাবাহিক সম্প্রসারণের ওপর অরূচি। তাই, দেশের একটি বৃহত গোষ্ঠীর অনেকদিনের জমানো ক্ষোভকে স্বীকৃতি দিয়ে ভাজপা দল ক্ষমতায় এসেছিল। ছোটবেলায় বিজ্ঞান পাঠে শিখেছিলাম – প্রকৃতি শূন্য সহ্য করেনা, তাই শূন্যস্থানকে ভর্তি করে দেয় পূর্ণতা রক্ষা করতে। জনতার বৃহদাংশ হিন্দুদের বঞ্চিত থাকার অনুভূতিটা একরকম রাজনৈতিক শূন্যতা – যা রাজনৈতিক ক্ষেত্রে পুরণ করার সময় এসেছিল এবং ভাজপা তা বুঝতে পারে এবং তাকে ভর করে এক রাজনৈতিক আন্দোলন শুরু করে, যার আধুনিক ফল হল নরেন্দ্র মোদীর কত লোকেদের উত্থান। তবে ক্ষমতায় আসা, আর ক্ষমতায় টিকে থাকা – দুটো দুরকম সমস্যা – এবং সমাধানও সবসময় একই পরিকল্পনা থেকে আসে না।

স্যমন্তক বলেছে ছোটখাটো ছাপোষাদের ঘুষ ও চুরিচামারির রাস্তা বন্ধ হয়েছে। আগের মনমোহন সরকারও একটু একটু করে সেই রাস্তা বন্ধ করার পথে নেমেছিল – মোদী সরকার সেই রাস্তাকে আরও প্রশস্ত করেছে। এক ঝলকে দেখলে তাতে লোকেদের খুশি হবারই কথা, এবং মোদী সরকার তাকে সবার দৃষ্টিগোচরও করেছে নানা প্রকার ঢাক পিটিয়ে। আরও নানা যায়গায় সরকার দেশকে স্বাবলম্বী করার নামে নানা রকম উদ্যোগও নিয়েছে – মানছি।

কিন্তু, দূর থেকে নিরপেক্ষভাবে বিচার করলে মনে হয় যে – ছোটখাটো লোকেদের চুরি চামারি, দুর্নীতি এবং আমলাতন্ত্র থামিয়ে মোদী সরকার বৃহত কর্পোরেশন এবং ধনকুবেরদের রাষ্ট্র লুঠ করার পথ খুলে দিয়েছে এবং রাষ্ট্রকে দেশী বিদেশী অতিধনী গোষ্ঠীশাসনের অধীনে আনার জন্য কাজ করে যাচ্ছে। চুরি এখনও হচ্ছে এবং মনে হয় আগের চেয়ে আরও ভয়াবহ রুপ নিচ্ছে সেই দূরাচার – এবং তাতে লাভবান হবে মিচকে চোরেরা বা সাধারণ প্রজারা নয়, অন্য এক শ্রেনীর অতিক্ষমতাশীল প্রভুদের দল, যাদের পকেটে সব রাজনীতিবিদরা থাকে এবং মনে হচ্ছে মোদীর জন্যেও এক বিশেষ পকেট তৈরি ছিল শুরু থেকেই।

নানা দেশী এবং আন্তর্জাতিক কারণে ভারতীয় এবং পৃথিবীর জনগন আজ এক নজিরহীন মহাসংকটের সামনে দাঁড়িয়ে – সব দেশের সব রাজণৈতিক দলই এই মানবতালুণ্ঠনে অংশীদার ও ঠিকাদার  মনে হয় – তফাতটা খালি কে কিরকম লিপস্টিক লাগাচ্ছে এবং কিরকম পাউডার মাখছে গালে – ততটুকুই।

আমার নিজস্ব মতে দোষটা জনতার। রাজা হল জনতার প্রতিফলন। জনতা যদি দূরদৃষ্টিহীন, স্বার্থপর, কাপুরুষ বা মেরুদণ্ডহীন, ভীরু হয়, তবে তাদের প্রাপ্য মুখোশপরা সরকারই তারা পাবে।

এতে সবচেয়ে শিক্ষণীয় পাঠ হল – স্বাধীনতা, ন্যায় ও সুবিচার আকাশ থেকে পড়ে না – তাকে অর্জন করতে হয় – তার জন্য মাথার ঘাম ফেলতে হয়, এমনকি রক্তও দিতে হয়।

দুঃখের বিষয় – সুভাসবাবুও জনরক্তস্বল্পতায় কাবু হলেন এবং রবীন্দ্রনাথের বর্ণিত হালের কাছের মাঝি  ঔ ভীরু জনতার অবহেলায় আজ সুদূরে বিলীন।

বেশি বলে ফেলেছি মনে করলে নিজগুনে মাফ করে দিস বাবুয়া।

সবাই ভাল থাকবেন।

C19, Fauci, & India

There is a legal challenge to the government of India against implementation of untested and potentially harmful covid vaccines. Four individual citizens have brought that challenge to the government directly in the Supreme Court.
One of the high profile Supreme Court lawyers of India, Mr. Prashant Bhushan, is representing them free of charge.
This is his statement on twitter about Fauci, covid, and HIV.

As it happens, a decade ago, the same Mr. Bushan represented a single Indian woman on her Supreme Court challenge against the Government of India on account of introducing untested and potentially harmful GMO crops. As a result of that court challenge, the Government of India has till date not approved of any GMO to be introduced as main food crop.
I interviewed this Mr. Bhushan some five years ago, regarding Canada not having the same constitutional rights for the people to stop the toxification of the land and the people with pesticides such as glyphosate, and what one might do about it etc .
I put that conversation up on Youtube in an 8 minute video at the time.
Meanwhile the circle seems to have come around again, where the same Mr. Bhushan is now engaged on yet another groundbreaking Public Interest Litigation directly against the Union of India on account of flooding the nation with covid vaccines. Here is his statement on Twitter linking Fauci in directly threatening Indian scientists.
I suspect Mr. Bhushan will collect all these evidences in his representation of the situation where western Big Pharma and interest groups have used force to shut off discerning voice and free and fair investigation of aspects that reflect on public health and safety.

These are some of the reasons I suspect india might help turn the corner, but that this movement, if it happens, will not come from tech savvy, English speaking, social media active masses of India (exceptions aside), but from those “backward” people that refuse to follow the TV, the social media and the modern crowd and their peer pressure, and instead use a vanishing commodity – common sense and logic.

Dr. Biswaroop Roychoudhury & friends write to the Prime Minister of India on covid

There is a perception that India is reeling under covid and more people are dying from it than most other countries. This notion is exacerbated through constant drumming in the media, both inside and outside of India. The real story may well be different. There are a lot of people including friends I know, who say that a number of their acquaintances that died of covid recently had, without fail, taken both doses of vaccine.

Vaccine resistance was already entrenched among many in India, historically. Now that seems to be rising among some sections of the crowd, while others are rushing to get themselves vaccinated. Rush to find oxygen cylinders have skyrocketed and there is a national level shortage to cater to demand. Some experts say this spiking of demand is through irrational panic, driven more by constant fear mongering on media and by politicians, and also by the fact that everybody today has gotten hold of an oximeter, by which you can check your oxygen intake level by sticking a finger into the device. Thus, people who are otherwise doing fine and driven to panic thinking they are dying due to oxygen level showing a percentage point lower than normal.

In the middle of all this, a group of 161 noted doctors in India have collectively written a letter to the Prime Minister, informing them of an alternative view of the situation and notifying him that the covid based personal restrictions and shutdown of economy is both unwarranted and extremely harmful for the future of India’s viability. They are following it up with a legal challenge to the government, unless the government steps back and pulls India back from the socioeconomic brink.

One doctor in that group, Dr. Biswaroom Roychoudhury, a PhD in diabetes, talks for ten minutes into a camera, describing their paint of view, speaking in Hindi.

The letter by the 161 doctors to the Prime Minister has been copied to all elected members of parliament, all elected members of provincial legislative assembly and all district magistrates.

Further, the note sort of issues a warning, that, if the covid based restrictions, which are both unnecessary and extremely damaging for India, are not lifted by June 1st, the group will challenge both the Prime Minister and the Government in court.

Vaccine hegemony, USA and the Quad meeting

Leaders of four nations, USA, Australia, Japan and India, recently had a virtual meeting – being called the Quad meeting, about covid vaccine.

ON the surface, this was about increasing protection against various flavours of the coronavirus that was emerging and was expected to emerge in the coming months, for the people of Asia, and to greatly increase the capacity to produce a lot of vaccines to protect the people.

Also on the surface, there was an effort to counter China’s offer to provide cheap vaccines to South east Asia, to protect them from covid, thereby increasing its influence and control over the region, and making it more dependent on China.

As it happens, India has already reached an agreement a month ago o supply 1.1 billion doses of Astra Zeneca and Novavax vaccines at the cost of $3 per vial to many low income nations, via UNICEF.

Now the four nation meeting appears to help finance a big boost to the Indian manufacturing sector through financial instruments, to increase India’s capacity by some one billion vials by 2022, as engineered through the initiative of US president Biden.

I suspect a few things here. Which are:

  1. Biden is following orders of its NWO bosses and financiers.
  2. The idea is to help fund new vaccine capacity in India, where other nations such as Japan and Australia are to be roped in to also help fund India in such increase of capacity, in the guise of countering China. IN effect, this helps the share holders, the Big Pharma which also funds politicians like Biden, to make more huge windfall profits and increase the debt burden of the third world countries in Asia. Instead of being indebted to China, this new arrangement helps Western Big Pharma to be the beneficiary and the western banking system to hold the debt against more Asiatic nations. All in the name of saving them from covid and also from China.
  3. India is to be among the chief beneficiaries through increase sale, global reach and rise in stature in being the world’s pharmacy, producing someone else’s product.

A lot of players are involved in this. A lot of money is to be made. A lot of political control is the target, and a lot of forces are at work. It all hinges on continued terror in the minds of people about covid pandemic.

India, in my view, is being groomed to play a role as a hedge against China, where actual profit will be made by Big Pharma and globalists. That original $3 is what India gets for being a cheap manufacturer or others products. How much the actual recipient country will have to pay through UNICEF financiers are another matter. Most countries are expected not to pay outright but go into debt so that their own national assets are now connected as collateral guarantee. This is my guess on how the new age economic colonisation works and how India could be as good an enabler as China. All this is my own opinion, though I would have liked to see some public debate on such issues.

Trudeau, Vaccine, & farmers protest in India

What are the links between Trudeau, Covid, Vaccine, India and Farmers protest ? You might suspect these are unrelated. You would be justified in thinking that, since these items are not linked on main stream media, are not covered on CBC, nor by the Canadian politicians, and neither on social media, at least in the west.

However, they are very much linked, including Greta Thunberg and the climate change activism, which I consider as mostly a fake front for more serious mischief makers that use convent front end tools to hijack events and usurp societies and governments. George Soros is suspected to be behind some of it. Bill Gates is another high profile person, as are the Rothschilds and their Indian poster boy, Amartya Sen.

The image below covers parts of posts, comments and exchanges that are going on on the Facebook alternative of MeWe, and also the fledgeling Indian micro-blogging platform Koo, and covers a small cutting of a newspaper article where Trudeau is supposed to have claimed that – if the world manages to conquer covid, it would be because of India’s contribution.

Many folks in India recognise Trudeau as anti-India because of its open support of the farmers protest, which, in Canada, has support of Khalistan insurgency groups as well as globalists like Soros and their puppets (Greta etc) that are keen to destabilise India and try to hijack various events such as the farmer’s protest.
 
It has been known for a while that financial help might be going from Canada to the insurgency groups in India under the pretext of, for example, the farmers protest.
 
But, Trudeau is caught in a bind. He desperately wants to start mass immunisation program in Canada against covid, but does not have access to the vaccines from anybody, since there is a short supply.
 
India, meanwhile, is arguably the largest bulk producer of vaccines, both under contract of various branded vaccine makers as well as two different brands of in-house India made vaccines.
 
So, Trudeau has been calling the Prime Minister of India to help fast track supply of these vaccines to Canada. The Indian PM is well aware of Trudeau’s links with anti-India forces.
 
So, Trudeau is reportedly creating distance from the farmers protests and beginning to find comments to praise India in an effort to influence its decision of vaccine supplies.
 
Most Indians have not woken up to the fact that covid emergency could be an engineered panic,. But there are many I personally know, that are not going to have the vaccine and are very skeptical of the goings on.
 
Meanwhile, according to the news, India’s vaccination program is perhaps the most massive in HIstory of the world. I fear for what happens to them. While voluntary, India is fast tracking efforts to make vaccines available first to the elderly, those with co-morbidity and to front line workers.
 
Is India to be the guinea pig for the rest of the world.

Meanwhile, the Canadian broadcasting service only mentions that AstraZeneca branded vaccine is being introduced. What they fail to mention is that this is going from India, as if Canada is somehow embarrassed that it cannot seem to get it without India’s help.

 

The broken spine story

I was planning to work in my backyard, repairing my vegetable beds, working with the soil and adding compost, fixing the wooden walls for the raised beds etc. BY late February, plants need to go into the ground from starter pots, or seeds need to go into the ground. Time to work.

But, it was raining and it was cold. Not a good time to be working outdoors. I am not worried about covid, but I might catch a cold and in any case, it is not comfortable working in the rain in the middle of winter in Canada.

So – I got remained grounded indoor and started back at reducing my footprint on Facebook. I had already archived all 20,00 or so pictures from it to my hard drive, and deleted all albums from Facebook. However, the timeline pictures, over 4,600 of them, could be archived but could not be deleted. The delete button seems missing for the timeline photos, in a bulk. And I was not going to search out each of those thousands of pictures and try deleting them one by one.

Somewhere in that effort to find a solution, I ended up going through some of the pictures and they brought back pleasant memories.

Here is a 28 months old set of pictures from a trip I made into rural India to talk glyphosate. I am standing at the edge of a large open field in the rural outskirts of a North Bengal small town called Raigunj, in India. Behind me is a giant flat LED Screen. On the table is a MacBook – connected to the flat screen. In the corner, partially seen, is one of the two large standing boom boxes, or large speakers.

In front of me, and invisible in this picture – are a thousand people, including townspeople, villagers and farmers, women and men, sitting on the ground. Behind them is a line of people standing.

I am telling them, in their local language, the dangers of using pesticides as weedkillers in general in agriculture, and RoundUp/Glyphosate in particular. My trip was arranged there by the local organic farming promoting group called F.I.A.M.

On the screen, is a black and white photograph of a child with Spina bifida (Broken spine) a severe birth defect that is suspected to be the direct result of agricultural women, in early stage of pregnancy, being exposed to glyphosate, which seriously interferes with creation of the blueprint for the foetus, based on which the whole human is created inside the mothers womb.

The pictures is from the interior of Argentina, where a GMO tobacco plant, designed with genetically modified tobacco was grown in a Hughe plantation in the middle of a large jungle and away from big towns. The tobacco was designed to withstand being sprayed by glyphosate, which would kill all other weeds, insects and pretty much everything else around the plants but allow the tobacco to grow. Many young women that worked as farm workers were engaged to spray glyphosate over the plants, using sprayers that were carried as backpacks. Some of these women were pregnant at the time, and got exposed to breathing this glyphosate. Some developed serious ailments down the line, often months or even years after the exposure. But many others that were in early phase of pregnancy, gave birth to live babies with severe and almost untreatable birth defects. All were poor living in remote areas away from urban centres. High quality medical care was not available. Nobody told them glyphosate was the likely cause. So the women just took is as bad luck, and cared for the these children the best they could.

Years later, an Argentinian photographer, Pablo Piovano, toured these areas on a motorcycle and with a camera, searching for women that sprayed glyphosate on the tobacco plants to check if any suffered from illness. That is when, years after the fact, a new story began to emerge – newborns with severe birth defects, apart from serious illness and death of elders. He photographed them, interviewed the parents and collected it all to be published, under Spanish name of “Costo humano de las agrotóxicas” (Human cost of agrotoxins). Eventually, I saw a copy of it, and asked permission to use some of the images in my trip to interior India, to warn farm workers against use of glyphosate. I obtained the permission. And thus, this picture became part of my hour long presentation in this rural corner in India back in 2018.

The child in this picture suffers from Spina Bifida (broken spine) and cannot stand up straight. As it happens, cases of Spina Bifida among newborns in India is rising rapidly, at the same speed the use of glyphosate in agriculture is rising. History seems to repeat itself, again and again – in different corners of the planet, all linked to the same item.

Today, going through the images, I thought of sharing it on Facebook. Then, a few days later, I thought it deserved a better place – on my blog, and perhaps in a future book.

আমার জন্ম ভারতবর্ষে। আমি ভারতের নানা প্রদেশে ও নানা শহরে শিক্ষালাভ করেছি। বর্তমানে আমি কানাডার বাসিন্দা ও নাগরিক এবং পেশাতে এক অবসরপ্রাপ্ত ইঞ্জিনিয়ার। কোভিড নিয়ে নানা সরকারের নানা যুক্তিহীন কার্যকলাপের দর্শক হয়ে আমি যে উদ্বেগ ও আশঙ্কা বোধ করছি, তার চাপে পড়ে আপনাকে এই ছিঠিটি পাঠাতে বাধিত হলাম। এই ব্যাপারে আমি কানাডার প্রধান মন্ত্রী শ্রী ট্রুডো এবং অন্যান্য রাজনৈতিকদেরও লিখেছি। শীঘ্রই ভারত সরকারের শীর্ষপদাধিপতি শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদীকেও লিখব।

মিডিয়া এবং দুএকটি ব্যতিক্রম বাদে সব সরকার দিন রাত সর্বত্র উচ্চরবে কোভিড-নামা মন্ত্রবুলি আওড়াচ্ছে – যাতে বলা হচ্ছে যে কোভিড হল শতাব্দীর সবচেয়ে ভয়ংকর, দেশব্যাপী ও বিশ্বব্যাপী মহামারি, যাতে কোটি কোটি লোকের প্রাণহানির সঙ্কা আছে যদি না লোকেরা কঠোর চিকিতসা নির্দেশিকা ও সীমাবদ্ধতা মেনে চলে। এই বিধিনিষেধ তালিকায় আছে –

  • অপ্রয়োজনীয় সব ব্যাবসা বাণিজ্য, লেনদেন কারবার বন্ধ করতে হবে। কোনটা প্রয়োজনীয় এবং কি অপ্রয়োজনীয় তা সরকার ঠিক করবে।
  • লোকজনের একত্রিত হয়ে মেলামেশা থামাতে হবে। একে অন্যের থেকে ছয় ফুট দূরে থাকতে হবে। কোলাকুলি হাতধরা সব বন্ধ।
  • নাক-মুখ ঢাকা, শ্বাস-প্রশ্বাস হ্রাসকারী মাস্ক বা মুখোশ লোকজনের সামনে সবাইকে পরে থাকতে হবে।
  • কোভিড-উপস্থিতি নির্ণয়কারী অপ্রমাণিত কিছু টেস্ট পালন করতে যতদূর সম্ভব বাধ্য করা হবে সাধারণ নাগরিককে, তাকে কোভিডে ধরেছে কিনা জানতে, সে সুস্থ হোক বা না হোক।
  • দেশ জুড়ে অনাবশ্যক ভ্রমণ বন্ধ। কোনটা আবশ্যক আর কোনটা নয়, তা সরকার ঠিক করবে, নাগরিকরা করবে না।
  • যাদের সরকার মনে করছে কোভিড সংক্রামিত বা সংক্রমনের উপযুক্ত – তাদের নিজের বাড়িতে কারারুদ্ধ থাকতে হবে কয়েক সপ্তাহ, সে অসুস্থ হোক বা না হোক।
  • যারা এই আপাত প্রতারণার প্রতিবাদ করছে এবং এর বৈজ্ঞানিক বিশ্লেষণে আগ্রহী তাদের গনস্বাস্থ বিরোধী ঘোষনা করে মুখ বন্ধ রাখা এবং তাদের কথা মিডিয়া থেকে দূরে রাখা হোক। বেশি প্রতিবাদ করলে চাকরি বরখাস্ত এমনকি হাজতবাস।
  • কোভিড মুক্তির যাদু টীকাগুচ্ছ যেই বাজারে আসবে, তক্ষুনি সবাই যেন তাদের নিঃশর্তভাবে বারংবার নিতে রাজি থাকে, এবং টীকার  নিরাপত্তার প্রমাণ দাবি করে যেন মিছিমিছি অনর্থ না পাকায়।

আরও নানা শর্ত আশা করা যায় জনতার ঘাড়ে চাপবে দিনে দিনে।

কিন্তু দুঃখের কথা, যা আমার জন্মের দেশ ভারতবর্ষ, কিম্বা আমার গৃহীত দেশ কানাডা আজ অবধি করেনি, সেটা হল – নিজের দেশে, নিজেদেরই বিশেষজ্ঞদের নিয়ে, একটি আভ্যন্তরীণ তদন্ত চালানো এবং নিরপেক্ষ ভাবে নির্ধারণ করা এই কোভিড ইনফ্লুয়েঁজাটি ঠিক কতটা ভয়ংকর, কতটা দ্রুত ব্যাপ্তিশিীল বা কত তাড়াতাড়ি ছড়াচ্ছে, যেই টেস্টগুলি করা হচ্ছে তাতে সত্যিকারের কোনও ভয়াবহ ভাইরাস ধরা পড়ে, নাকি কানা খানা গানা ঘানার মত যা খুশি তাই অবাস্তব ও জালিয়াতি রিপোর্টে বেরোচ্ছে, কোভিডকে মহামারি বা অতিমারি ঘোষণা করাটা কি পুরোপুরি প্রমাণিত ও সমর্থনীয় ? এবং তারই সঙ্গে এটাও বিচার করা হষনি যে ঔ ছোট ব্যাবসাগুলো বন্ধ করে গরীবদের পেটে লাথি মারা, মেলামেশা বন্ধ করা, তাদের মানসিক স্বাস্থ্যের ওপর যুদ্ধ ঘোষণা করা, লোকের যাতায়াত বন্ধ করা, সুস্থ সবল লোকজনদোর জোর করে নিজগৃহে কারারুদ্ধ করে রাখা – এই সব করে কি সত্যিই কোভিড রুখছে না সবই ভানুমতির খেল ?

যে প্রশ্নের নিপীড়নে আমি বিহ্বল তা হল, কেন স্বাধীন দেশের সরকাররা এক বিদেশী, অনির্বাচিত প্রতিষ্ঠানের অপ্রমানিত সংকেত বানীতে, এক কথায়, বিনা বিচারে, নিজেদের দেশের স্বাধীনতা, স্বসন্ত্রতা, মুক্তি, বানিজ্য, অর্থনীতি, সামাজিক সংগঠন, লোকসম্পদ ও ভবিষ্যতকে বিসর্জন দিতে রাজি হল। এরকম আত্মঘাতী অপকর্ম করার দূঃসাহস পেল কি করে সরকার? এর মূলে কি আছে ?

এই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ জ্বলন্ত প্রশ্নের উত্তর এখনও পাইনি।

মনে হচ্ছে যা চলছে তা যেন এক দেশ জোড়া সরকারী মহা দুরাচার। এর পেছনে যেন সন্ত্রাসী দেশদ্রোহীতার পরিকল্পনা আছে। এই চক্রান্তের কলকাঠি নাড়ছে যেন বিশ্বব্যাপী এক ষড়যন্ত্রীদল, যার মধ্যে লোক ঠকানো, শোষণমূলক মেডিকাল কূ-চিকিৎসকদের গোষ্ঠী এবং ব্যাঙ্ক ও কর্পোরেট সৈন্যদল যুক্ত।

এরই মধ্যে আমি চেষ্টা করেছি, এবং আরও করব, যাতে কানাডার কোনও না কোনও স্তরের সরকার রাজি হয় কোভিডের অস্তিত্ব, তার প্রাণনাশক তীব্রতা, এবং সরকারী বাধানিষেধের কার্যকারিতা নিয়ে স্বাধীন নিরপেক্ষ ও স্বচ্ছভাবে ভাবে তদন্ত শুরু করে। এই স্বতন্ত্র ও নিজস্ব পরীক্ষা করতে ভারত সরকার অন্য অনেক দেশের মতই অনিচ্ছুক। এই কারণেই আমার সন্দেহ হচ্ছে যে কোভিডের ছুতো দেখিয়ে, এক বিশ্বব্যাপী ষড়যন্ত্রে যোগ দিয়েছে নানা দেশের রাষ্ট্রীয় এবং প্রাদেশিক সরকাররা, যে দলে ভারত ও পশ্চিম বঙ্গ সরকারও হয়তো রয়েছে। এই ষড়যন্ত্রের কলকাঠি নাড়া হচ্ছে বাইরে থেকে এবং এর মূুলে হয়তো কিছু অতি সমৃদ্ধ ও ক্ষমতাবান করপেরেট ও ব্যাঙ্ক গোষ্ঠীর এক নতুন পৃথিবী লুণ্ঠনের পরিকল্পনা কাজ করছে।

দয়া করে কিন্তু বাছাই করা করপোরেট ধ্বজাধারী মেডিকাল গোষ্ঠীর রিপোর্ট পেশ করবেন না এই বোঝাতে যে পণ্ডিতরা বলছে কোভিড সত্যি এবং ছোটখাটো দোকান ব্যবসা বন্ধ করা, মাস্ক পরা, হাত ধোয়া, পারস্পরিক দূুরত্ব রাখা, টীকা নেওয়া ইত্যাদি সবই প্রয়োজনীয় এবং বৈজ্ঞানিক সত্য। এদের পূর্বপুরুষরাই একদিন বলেছিল ডিডিটি বাচ্চাদের গায়ে ও মাথায় মাখলে মশার আক্রমন বা অন্য পোকামাকড়ের রোগ থেকে রক্ষা পাওয়া যায়। তারাই একসময় বড়াই করে বলত গর্ভবতী মহিলারা যদি ভাল সিগারেট খায় তবে তাদের মন ও শরীর ভাল থাকে, গর্ভস্থ সন্তানের কোনও ক্ষতি হয়না এবং এই মহিলাদের নবযুগের সচেতন নারী বলে চেনা যায়। এই রকম করপোরেট বুলি শুনতে আমি রাজি নই এবং এদের বিজ্ঞতাকে আমি একতরফা এবং বিপজ্জনক মনে করি।

এই দৃশ্যপটের সামনে তাই আজ আপনার সরকারকে আবেদন করছি – এই কোভিড মহাকাব্যের আপাদমস্তক সব কিছুর পুঙ্খানুপুঙ্খ তদন্ত করুন, বাইরের অতিপণ্ডিতদের কথায় কান না দিয়ে। এই নিরীক্ষার জন্য উপযুক্ত নিরপেক্ষ কর্মণ্য কুশলীদের নিযুক্ত করুন, যাদের রাজনীতি, টাকা বা চাকরির লোভ বা ভীতি দেখিয়ে লক্ষভ্রষ্ট করা যাবেনা। জনগনের সামনে তাদের পরীক্ষা ও রিপোর্ট তুলে ধরুন এবং জনগনকে তা স্বতন্ত্রভাবে জাচাই করার সুযোগ দিন। যদি এই সব জরুরি কাজ আপনার সরকারের নাগালের বাইরে থাকে, তবে কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারকে দাবী করুন এই কাজে নামতে এবং যতদিন এর যথার্থ প্রমাণ না পেশ করা যাচ্ছে ততদিন আপনার সরকার কোভিড নিয়ে কোনও বাধানিষেধ মানবে না – তা জানিয়ে দিন দিল্লিকে।

আর যদি মনে করেন কোভিডের ষড়যন্ত্রের পেছনের মহাসত্য প্রকাশ করলে আন্তর্জাতিক আর্থিক প্রতিষ্ঠান গুলি আপনাদের অর্থনৈতিক স্বাধীনতা ধ্বংস করে রাতারাতি দেশকে কপর্দকশূন্য দেউলিয়া করে দেবে, তবে জনগনের কাছে সত্য স্বীকারের সাহস রাখুন এবং জানান যে প্রাদেশিক ও কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারকে কোভিডের নামে অর্থনৈতিক হুমকি দিয়ে ব্ল্যাকমেল করা হচ্ছে।

যদি সরকার সত্যি বলতে অরাজি থাকে, জল আরও ঘোলা করে, এবং নাগরিকদের হেঁয়ালিতে সম্মোহিত, ভুল ভ্রান্তিতে বিহ্বল এবং মিথ্যা ভয়ে আতঙ্কিত করে রাখার সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়, তবে স্বাধীন চিন্তাবিদরা এটাই সন্দেহ করতে পারেন যে নেতা নেত্রীরা দেশের ও দশের বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করছে এবং এই কূকর্মে জড়িতদের কারাবাস হওয়া উচিত।

একটি প্রদেশের নেত্রী হয়ে আপনার সরকারের মনবল আছে কিনা এই মহারোগের মহাষড়যন্ত্রের স্বতন্ত্র সত্যানুসন্ধানে লিপ্ত হতে তার বিচার আপনারা করবেন। মনে করি এই চিঠির আবেদনকে উপেক্ষা করে একে বাকি আবর্জনার সঙ্গে ট্রাশ করাটা আনেক সোজা হবে, এবং হয়ত সেটাই আপনি ওপরওয়ালার দেওয়া নির্দেশ ও কর্তব্য ভেবে পালন করবেন।

তাই আমিও, এক বিশ্ব নাগরিক হিসেবে, আমার কর্তব্য পালন করব – এই চিঠিটি সর্বজনীন করে, সবার সামনে প্রকাশ করে।

কিন্তু, যদি আপনার সরকার বিস্ময়কর ব্যতিক্রম দেখিয়ে সত্যিই কোভিড বিচারে নিযুক্ত হন, বা রাষ্ট্র সরকারের কাছে প্রকাশ্যে দাবী রাখেন কোভিড-সংক্রমন-বিপদ এবং তা রোখার পদ্ধতির উপযোগিতার প্রমাণ পেশ করতে, তবে আমার বিচারে আপনার সরকার তার সাংবিধানিক কর্তব্য, অর্থাত নাগরিকদের সুরক্ষা করা, তা পালন করবে, এবং সাথে সাথে আমার অকৃত্রিম প্রশংসা ও শ্রদ্ধা অর্জন করবে।

আপনার সরকারকে এই অন্তর্দর্শন ধ্যানের অহ্বান জানিয়ে শেষ করছি।

Subject:  Covid-19 and destruction of liberty, economy, science and society of Bengal

Honourable Chief Minister Bannerjee,

I was born and schooled in various towns and provinces of India but am now a citizen and resident of Canada. I am an engineer by profession. I write this letter to you conveying my concern involving the way governments including yours is handling the covid-19 situation. I have also expressed the same view to the Prime Minister Trudeau, as well as many other elected politicians here in Canada. I aim to send also another note with the same message to the current Prime Minister of India, Mr. Modi, shortly.

Media and the governments in most nations, barring a few exceptions, are incessantly chanting on a new mantra which claims covid-19 to be an all consuming once in a century pandemic, and that to save mankind, one has to follow strict medical guidelines which up to now include:

  • Shut down of non-essential businesses
  • Denying people’s right to assemble, and enforcing social distancing
  • Wearing a mask in stores and other enclosed spaces in presence of others
  • Use unproven testing schemes to determine if a person is infected or not, irrespective of if the person is sick or healthy.
  • Restricting travel
  • Enforcing quarantine for people either suspected of being infected, or as safety measure after travel.
  • Being prepared to take vaccines as soon as they arrive,

There may be more items to follow. Some politicians are claiming that this covid threat will remain for a few years before things can go back to something faintly resembling normalcy.

However, I have noted that neither my birth country, India, nor my adopted country, Canada, have conducted any in-house independent, transparent and verifiable assessment of the covid threat, and neither have they checked if any of the restrictive measures listed above actually work to prevent movement of any virus from person to person or from air to person. Essentially, governments are putting their national and provincial economy, liberty, wealth and future to the sword, simply based on third party hearsay. Even worse, the World Health Organisation, which categorised covid-19 as a pandemic, have themselves not provided verifiable proof of the dangers of covid or the usefulness of the economic shut downs and personal restrictions.

The burning question in my mind is – why are governments agreeing to commit what to me appears to be little more than a propaganda to destroy selective small businesses, enforce mass impoverishment,  and bring in forced medication for a huge windfall profit for big Pharma. It also looks like a backdoor terrorist attack to destroy the wealth of nations and that of the common man, in an organised massive transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich, while promoting a new age of global dictatorship and shutting down of personal freedom, rights and liberty.

I have tried, and am continuing to try, to get some layer of the Canadian government to commit to assess the covid threat and if no proof of danger is found, to declare this as fake and engineered conspiracy to bring in a new form of fascism to help the corporate takeover of the planet.

Meanwhile I write this note as another appeal to ask you to either conduct your own, unbiased, transparent and verifiable assessment of the reality of the virus called sars-cov-2 that is reported to cause an illness named covid-19, and the usefulness of any of the restrictive measures being enforced, encouraged or allowed by your governments.

If however, your government is following the diktat of the World Health Organisation because it is afraid of financial repercussion of not complying with their suggestions, then your government should have the grit, the spine and the guts to own up to the public, that their society is being blackmailed into covid compliance.

Where governments are not at all coming clean on the covid issue, I cannot help but conclude that the political class are in essence acting treasonous and that the responsible politicians should be in prison.

In closing, I would add that I really do not believe you, as a chief minister of a province, will have the wherewithal, the courage, or the gumption to act upon this letter. It is more convenient to just trash it. In that, I suppose you will do your duty of following the globalist suggestion of keeping the covid issue under a veil of secrecy and obfuscation.

Therefore I intend to also perform my duty as a world citizen – of making this letter public.

If however, miracles still happen, and you decide to conduct your own in-house, honest, transparent and verifiable assessment of the covid threat and let the public scrutinise it, or demand that the Modi government does the same before you will allow Bengal to be put under any restriction – then you shall have performed your own sworn duty of protecting the interest of the people, and also earn my genuine admiration.

Encouraging you to introspect, I remain,
