(DTB).The event will be held at the University of Victoria Room A 110 in the David Turpin Building (DTB), formally the Social Sciences building. It will start at 7pm and the event will be hosted by John Volpe. Dr. Theirry Vrains talk will be followed by a panel discussion featuring local representatives. The event is by donation. Dr. Thierry VrainÕs presentation, The Gene Revolution will: 1.explain what genetic engineering is, how it began, and how it has progressed. This will be facilitated through a slide presentation, citing the latest scientific studies; 2.define the documented effects of GE foods and how that relates to human health; and 3.discuss what the future holds for us if GE foods are not stopped.
