Grand Forks and Boundary Regional Agricultural Society (GFBRAS) is proud to organize an evening with Thierry Vrain and Shiv Chopra about the potential dangers of GMOs, whereby questionable science, failure of regulatory mechanism, lobby pressure and a campaign of misinformation may be pushing unsuspecting Canadians to accept increasing health and environmental risks.
NDP MP Alex Atamanenko has generously contributed to make this event possible, and will attend the presentation by the scientists.
The event will be held at Seniors Centre, City Park, 565 - 71st Avenue, Grand Forks on December the 5th at 7 PM.
The event is also supported by the National Farmers Union.
